Simon Anderson

Simon is very focused on commercialising smart local energy systems and currently runs three organisations.

  • The Traxis Group, a collaboration between senior, highly experienced energy executives that delivers business integration services for companies building and operating local energy systems.
  • The Local Energy Market Alliance, a new initiative aimed at commercialising local energy systems and developing a market for them.
  • Zigzag Strategy + Research which provides Delivery Capability Assessments (DCAs), a way to match business partners and develop collaborative capabilities.

 

He has been an active member of Smart Energy Europe for over 10 years and recently completed a 2-year stint as a Board Member and Chair of the Active Buildings and Neighbourhoods Committee.

 

Prior to this he co-founded Green Energy Options Ltd (geo), a successful smart home appliance business.
