DERlab is an association of leading laboratories and research institutes in the field of distributed energy resources equipment and systems, developing joint requirements and quality criteria for the connection and operation of distributed energy resources (DER) and supporting consistent development of DER technologies. DERlab offers testing and consulting services for distributed generation (DG).

Published on a quarterly basis Energy and Sustainability Solutions is designed to keep the industry up to date with the latest information, products, systems and services. The GSHP Association is the focal point for business interests in the ground source heat pump industry. The purpose of the Association is:

  1. to provide benefits to members
  2. to share best practice and develop and disseminate industry approved technical standards, training criteria and codes of practice
  3. to promote the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and technical competence within the ground source energy industry
  4. to represent the ground source heating & cooling industry, promoting sustainable use of heat pump technology and engaging with government and other bodies to influence relevant policymaking.

The HPF lobbies government for long term policy supporting the electrification of heating and cooling, works to raise awareness, understanding and confidence in heat pump technology across both domestic and commercial sectors, and collaborates with government, industry and consumers to make this a reality.

The Public Sector Sustainability Association (PSSA) provides a professional association and network for all those working in the Public Sector who have a common interest in sustainability. The aim of the association is to bring together a wide group of people working across all areas of the Public Sector – to help educate, train and support and connect.

  • Contain over 200 MW of low carbon generation plant (CHP, biomass, EFW etc)
  • Deliver more than 1 GWh of heat each year
  • Across energy networks which, if combined, would extend for more than 300km

Through Full and Associate membership, the UK District Energy Association’s aim is to represent current and potential owners, developers, consumers, partners, operators, product suppliers and interested parties involved with the District Energy sector throughout the UK.
