Gavin Donaldson

Gavin Donaldson is a Senior Commercial Analyst at Highview, where he supports the development of grid-scale long-duration energy storage (LDES) and grid stability projects across the UK. His work focuses on Highview’s liquid air energy storage technology, guiding projects from their initial idea through to financial close. 

In his role, Gavin oversees project financing, commercial strategy, market analysis, and raising capital, supporting portfolio development opportunities across energy storage and grid stability. He was a key contributor to Highview’s application to Ofgem’s Cap & Floor scheme, and currently, two of the company’s projects are under review by Ofgem and NESO.
