The UK’s First Event for Industrial and Commercial Onsite and Localised Energy Launches in 2021

The UK’s first exhibition and conference focused on onsite and localised energy for industrial and commercial end-users launches in December 2021 with the support of the industry. The Distributed Energy Show, taking place on 8th & 9th December 2021 at the Telford International Centre, UK has an advisory board of industry leaders helping to shape this event from organisations including Octopus Energy, Innovate UK, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Kiwi Power, Connected Energy and LithiumWerks.

With rising energy prices and ambitious Government sustainability targets, industrial and commercial energy users must ensure they are generating, storing and managing energy in the most efficient, secure and sustainable way possible. The Distributed Energy Show will provide a dedicated showcase of technology and knowledge that will enable energy users to understand how they can reduce their costs and emissions whilst increasing security, supply and efficiency.

This free exhibition and conference will feature technologies including energy storage systems encompassing batteries, fly-wheel and hydro; generating technologies including solar PV, gas turbines and fuel cells; energy management and efficiency technologies covering waste heat recovery systems, virtual power plants, smart metres and many more. In addition to technology, service providers such as engineering consultants and specifiers will be on hand to discuss projects and energy strategies.

An expected 2,000 attendees will gather at the event in December including energy users from industrial and manufacturing plants, commercial operations, land owners and public sector building operators. As well as energy suppliers and network operators who will use the show to source technologies and understand the future and advancements in the sector.

Over 100 exhibitors will be at the show for two days of networking, lead generation and education at the Telford International Centre, with organisations already confirmed including: Oxto Energy, JA Solar and Dynamic Energy Solutions.

Steve Bryan, Managing Director of Event Partners who are hosting the event says “We are absolutely delighted with the industry-wide support we are seeing for The Distributed Energy Show, from major global organisations and thought-leaders helping to shape this event. The onsite and localised energy sector in the UK is undergoing an unprecedented level of growth currently driven by both Government and private investment. The Distributed Energy Show will bring together the entire supply-chain focused on distributed energy resources and provide visitors with a comprehensive array of technologies and systems to enable them to generate, store, manage and distribute their own power and heat.”
