Shaun Butler

Shaun founded Energy2 four years ago after spending 20+ years as a software engineer. He’s always been passionate about renewables and pushing the boundaries in technology. His focus has been on bringing innovation and manufacturing back to Britain while increasing the level of engineering excellence to the battery storage industry. From product design, to installation, support and full monitoring to help solve the energy management challenges we face across homes and businesses in the UK.  Importantly, it’s how battery storage and energy management works across the ecosystem of renewables including solar, heating, hot water, insulation and off-grid power supplies – even wind and water. Shaun has learned the most form a series of community energy projects that connects farms, homes, businesses and schools where controlling power and cost is becoming ever more important.
