From Network to System: How DSO Decisions Deliver Real Outcomes

As distribution networks become increasingly constrained, customers and investors need clarity, confidence and predictability. This keynote will demystify how National Grid’s DSO decisions are actively made today, from queue management and dispatch of flexibility to curtailment and risk management, and how data is being used to maximise the network. Drawing on real customer conversations, it will show how transparency around queue position, flexibility and asset management data is enabling faster connections, more secure operation and greater confidence in long-term revenue streams, supporting investment and whole-system outcomes.
