Amp X Delivers An Innovative Digital Energy Platform

Amp X delivers an innovative digital energy platform providing grid software services holistically addressing the challenges associated with the energy transition at the edge of the grid and providing the smart energy ecosystem to enable the grid of the future: decentralized, digital, flexible and powered by clean energy.

Amp X provides a unique portfolio of whole-system, interoperable offerings underpinned by a single proprietary Asset Management Platform to simultaneously address the challenges of a variety of energy stakeholders, from DNOs and energy retailers to household consumers.

The company’s CTO, Rod Buchanan, delivered a presentation at the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) in London showcasing how the pivotal role of technology in driving a clean energy transition forward to decarbonize the energy system and how the benefits of digitalisation can be unlocked to do so. Rod elaborates on how Amp X’s grid software solutions help increase flexibility and resilience at the edge of the grid, and shares insights into how Amp X is helping shape the future of the energy system.

Rod explains how Amp X’s Consumer Energy Management System – Alice – helps unlock flexibility from the very edge of the grid and delivers value to household energy consumers by helping reduce their energy cost and CO2 emissions while retaining control and visibility over their energy consumption.
